ReplyDeleteMade Khara Pongal today. It came out very good. Thanks for the recipe.Visited your site for the first time. Just loved it!!
ReplyDelete@Lakshmi...I am glad that you liked it and thanks for letting me know..
ReplyDeleteSuperbbbbbbbb. I usually hate po gal but this one is devineeeeeee. I m a bit lazy so i just fried the spices in the cooker n added the rice n stuff later. It came out. Awesome. So it became a one pot meal. For it to cook i just kept it in low flamme for about 20 to 30 mins. Worth the wait. Had this in bang but my husband who loves pongal usually dint like it much. But when i cooked this he was ready to eat it for breakfast and lunch. I dont add ghee or coconut. Thats all to it thank you very much. Oh had to add lots of water to it too.
